Rosewood Miramar|Room Division Consultant, Housekeeping Task Force

July 2019 - January 2022

Shortly after the opening of Miramar, Gerry was brought in to implement the processes and hierarchy of the Knowcross Housekeeping Management system, organize the supply and linen closets throughout the resort, and assisted as the Executive Housekeeper and Rooms Manager during transitions of staff. During this tenure the resort achieved a significant gains in guest satisfaction and hotel’s Forbes rating.

ROSEWOOD Hong KONG | Rooms Division Consultant, Opening Task Force

February - June 2019

Gerry Feltmann joined the the Opening Management Team in January 2019 prior to the hotel opening in March 2019, worked directly with an array of departments including Front Desk, Concierge, Butler, Guest Service and Transportation. In addition to, he managed Housekeeping, Laundry and HEOS placement. Gerry handled the coordination of the Arrival Team, and conducted Standards Training and Implementation. He stayed on post opening day to manage the continuation of best practices and standards, and manage post open hotel management questions and projects.

Rosewood Baha Mar | Rooms Division Consultant, Festive Task Force

December 2018 - January 2019

In his role as part of the Festive Task Force, Gerry provided Management Support as needed in the Rooms Division. He developed a documentation of Standard Operating Procedures, and oversaw the coordination of training opportunities. Additionally Gerry conducted an evaluation of the Arrival Team, made recommendations, and implemented changes for optimal process work flow.

Rosewood BermudA | Rooms Division Consultant, opening task force

June 2018 - October 2018

As part of the Opening Task Force, Gerry’s role encompassed technology, training and evaluation. Specifically, he oversaw the implementation of Knowcross Management software. Gerry developed, implemented and conducted Rosewood Standards Training for the Housekeeping Department, and trained the Incoming Assistant Executive Housekeeper. He handled the installation of remaining FF&E items for the Hotel Opening. Regarding human resource management, Gerry evaluated and streamlined the 2019 Staffing Guide; and conducted evaluations and recommendations for overall Rooms Division Performance.
